Your book is yours alone.

This is the whole policy, in plain English. No lawyer words.

Accelerated Experiences, LLC · last updated August 31, 2026

The short version. Your book is kept on your device and in a private database we run, so that clearing your browser does not destroy your records. It is filed under a random code, not your name — there is no account, no email and no password. Nobody can reach your book without that code. We could technically read what is in that database, the same as any company that stores your data; we do not, we never sell it, and nothing in it trains anything. If you would rather nothing of yours sat on our side at all, that is a fair thing to want and this app is not the right one for you today.

What we collect about you

Nothing that identifies you. There is no sign-up, no email, no password, no profile, no analytics. The app does not know who you are and it never asks. What we hold is a list of expenses under a random twelve-character code. We cannot tell you whose it is, because we were never told.

Where your book lives — and your book code

In two places: your browser's own storage, and a private database run by Accelerated Experiences, LLC. The second one is why your records survive a cleared browser or a lost phone. Both copies are filed under the book code shown in Settings.

Settings → Back it up writes a file to your device. That file is yours, it needs no code, and it is the copy that does not depend on us at all.

The two times anything leaves your device

We are telling you both, including the one most apps do not mention.

1. Speaking to Brian uses your phone's own dictation. When you talk instead of type, the app uses the speech recognition built into your browser and phone. On most phones — Apple and Google both — that audio is sent to their servers to be turned into text, under their privacy policies, not ours. That is the operating system doing it, not Xpense OS, and it is true of every voice feature on your phone. We never receive the audio and we never store it. If you would rather nothing was spoken anywhere, type instead — the typing box does exactly the same job and touches no network at all.
2. A sentence Brian cannot work out on his own. Brian understands almost everything on the device, instantly, with no network. Only when he is genuinely unsure does he send that one sentence of text to DeepSeek for a second opinion — never your name, never your book, never your other entries, never the audio. Just the words you said about that one expense. This only happens at all if the owner of this installation has switched it on.

What we never do

ThingUs
Advertising, or selling data to advertisersNever. There is nothing to sell.
Analytics or tracking pixelsNone in this app.
Cookies for trackingNone.
Reading your bank or card accountsWe never connect to a bank. You tell Brian; that is the only input.
Sharing or selling your bookNever. We hold it so you do not lose it, and for no other reason.
Training anything on your expensesNo.

The database, plainly

It is a private key-value store (Upstash Redis) inside the Accelerated Experiences account, reachable only by this app's own server code over an authenticated connection. Your entries are not end-to-end encrypted, so we are not going to claim they are unreadable to us. They are stored under your book code and nothing else — no name, no email, no device id, no location, no advertising identifier.

Children

This is a tool for managing household and business expenses. It is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone, of any age.

Deleting everything

Delete any entry by tapping it and choosing delete — that removes it from your device and from our database in the same action. To remove the whole book, delete the entries and then clear this site's data in your browser. If you want a book wiped on our side and cannot do it yourself, email us the code and we will delete it; sending us the code is the only way we can find it.

Changes to this page

If what the app does with data ever changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. We will not quietly widen it.
