The Office for Your Job
The walkthrough, six and a half minutes. Roz and Brian walk through it from the store to the price.
Who it is for
A W-2 job that happens in a car or at a kitchen table: home-health nurses and aides, field techs, reps, inspectors, anyone who drives for work and keeps their own book. One person, one office.
It started with a nurse who drives from home to home all day and was keeping the hours, the miles, the receipts and the pay in five different apps. So we built them one office instead.
Birdseye
The whole office from above, on one screen. Every room shows its own number before you tap a thing: today’s hours, this week’s spending, estimated take-home, what is on the calendar, what is filed. The middle says in or out. Tap a room and you walk in.

The road, tracked
Tap Start when you pull out of the driveway, Pause at each door, Continue when you pull away, End at home. The day adds itself up at the IRS rate in force on that date. If the phone was locked in your pocket, the missing road is filled in between the last two known points, and the entry says exactly how many miles were filled.
Expenses, said out loud
Say it the way you would say it to a friend: “parking, six dollars, for work.” Roz reads it back, asks business or personal if she cannot tell, and you tap File it. Day, week, month, quarter or year, every entry fixable, with QuickBooks and spreadsheet export.
The clock and the pay
A real punch clock: tap in, say what for, tap out. The pay calculator takes your rate, your state and how you file, and estimates take-home before the stub arrives, line by line.
Reports and records
Friday, the report: hours, expenses and estimated take-home, as a PDF or a spreadsheet. A mileage letter for your employer, written in the office and exported to Word. Every file lands in the Hall of Records with a date.
Yours
Skins for the way you like to read, day or night, Hot Pink included. Sign in on any phone. Export any time. Nobody sells it, nobody reads it, and the privacy page says so in plain English.
Why it is built this way
Research first. Every one of our operating systems starts in the numbers for the person it is built for. These came from accelerated DBM, our research division:
The price
Three days free. Then $13.95 a month, or $139 a year, which is two months free. No tiers, everything included.

Scope
AE Remote Work OS is a single-seat operating system for W-2 field and home-based workers, built on the Small OS Machine and served from aexperiences.studio. It consolidates time tracking, mileage logging, expense capture, net-pay estimation and document generation into one record store with one home shell.
Shell
Birdseye home: a room grid where every cell renders a live metric (hours today, weekly spend, estimated net, next calendar item, filed documents) and the center cell carries clock status. A fixed dock, a More drawer, and a right-edge assistant drawer. Every action has a manual path; voice is optional.
Mileage
Start / Pause / Continue / End trip states. Distance is valued at the IRS standard mileage rate in effect on the trip date. Location gaps from a locked or backgrounded device are interpolated between the last two known fixes, and the entry records the interpolated distance explicitly.
Expenses
Natural-language capture (“parking, six dollars, for work”) parsed to amount, category and business/personal classification, read back for confirmation before commit. Period roll-ups from day to year; QuickBooks and spreadsheet export.
Time and pay
A punch clock with task notes. Net-pay estimation from rate, state and filing status: Social Security, Medicare, federal and state withholding, itemized.
Documents and audit trail
Weekly report (hours, expenses, estimated net) as PDF or spreadsheet; employer mileage letter exported to Word. Every generated file is filed to the Hall of Records with a timestamp and a content fingerprint.
Assistant
Roz operates on a confirm-before-write model: the request is rendered as a card and nothing is committed until the user approves. Voice input on iPhone uses the system keyboard dictation.
Data
Email and password accounts, multi-device sign-in, full export at any time, no data resale, plain-English privacy page. Selectable skins with paired day and night variants.
